Our hearts were heavy as we heard the news of the tragic events on the morning of 7 October, where eight cyclists lost their lives and others were injured. It was a devastating blow to the cycling community, and we knew we had to do something to help those affected. That’s why we were proud to be part of an inspiring event at the Tel Aviv Velodrome to support and encourage those who witnessed, got caught up, and were injured on that fateful day to get back on their bikes. Despite the trauma and loss, the resilience and determination of 15-year-old Itai, who lost his eye in the Hamas ambush, continues to inspire us all. Just days after having a bullet fragment removed from his head, Itai was back on his bike at the velodrome, showing incredible strength and courage. His spirit and determination serve as a reminder of the power of the human spirit in the face of tragedy. #IsraelRidesOn #YallaIPT.
