At just 10 years old, Mandy discovered her love for cycling at the Brian Piccolo Velodrome in south Florida. She quickly excelled in the sport, winning multiple medals, including two gold medals, at the U.S. Junior Women’s 10-12 Road National Championships. Despite being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes during her time in Germany, Mandy continued to pursue her passion for cycling, eventually finding success in sprint disciplines after moving to Penn State Lehigh Valley for college. #diabetes #type1diabetes
